Options and project fit

We discuss crawl space vapor barriers, encapsulation, dehumidifiers, and moisture-control work. A ground vapor barrier and a full encapsulation are different scopes. The team inspects the accessible space before recommending work; not every home needs the same treatment. We do not diagnose mold, structural damage, or a moisture source through chat.

What is included — and what needs separate agreement

The written proposal identifies the work recommended and what is included, such as ground covering, sealing, drainage, or a dehumidifier. A dehumidifier is not automatically included. Electrical work, structural repairs, and other trades are included only if the proposal says so. The team explains any exclusions before work is approved.

Planning the site review

Tell us your home's location, what you have noticed, and whether you have questions about access or previous work. During an inspection the team reviews accessible conditions, discusses its findings, and explains any recommended next steps. Do not enter an unsafe crawl space to collect information for this chat. Standing water, suspected mold, and structural concerns require an on-site review.

Handover, warranty, and ongoing support

The team explains the care of installed equipment and any maintenance options at handover. Warranty terms, service coverage, and any ongoing maintenance are specified in the written agreement. This sample does not promise a universal warranty or maintenance schedule.

Encapsulation and barrier options

A vapor barrier covers the ground, while a full encapsulation can include sealing, moisture control, and other work. This sample company explains the options but recommends a scope only after inspecting the space. Tell the team what concerns you have and they can explain the inspection process.

Dehumidifier and proposal scope

This sample company lists a dehumidifier separately in the written proposal when it is recommended. It is not automatically included in every project. The team checks moisture conditions and explains the proposed scope after an inspection.

Inspection process

The team discusses your concerns, reviews accessible crawl space conditions, and explains what it finds. If work is recommended, the written proposal identifies the scope and price. The team confirms access and any limitations with you before the visit.

Quotes, budget, and timing

We quote each project after reviewing scope and site information. There is no approved price list, minimum order, financing offer, deposit percentage, response-time guarantee, or fixed installation lead time in this sample handbook. Explain the relevant cost drivers from the scope and planning articles, but do not invent even a rough dollar range. An early budget discussion can separate equipment, installation, coordination, site work, and exclusions. A final proposal identifies assumptions and responsibilities. Missing information can be listed for the project team; do not insist the customer already has every drawing before an initial conversation.

Preparing a useful project inquiry

Useful details for a project discussion: Home location and homeowner's concerns; Visible water, odors, or other reported conditions; Questions about the inspection and service scope; Preferred contact details, shared with permission. Summarize the details the visitor has already supplied, their remaining questions, and the next review step. Ask at most one relevant question at a time. This is a fictional business; do not collect real contact details or claim an inquiry has been sent, an appointment booked, or a quote prepared. The interface offers a sample project handoff. Actual customer installations can collect an inquiry for their own team. Service-area boundaries, staff availability, and response-time commitments are not specified for this example.

Built for a useful test

A good fit goes both ways.

You don’t need to be an AI expert. You do need an active website, room for more work, and a team ready to follow up.

We’ll review your traffic and current process together. You can apply if you don’t know your exact visitor count.

Danny Sullivan, founder of Snappy Leads

You work directly with Danny

A person behind the assistant.

I’m Danny, an AI product engineer and former service-business owner. When we had our crawl space encapsulated, we got at least ten quotes and the process was confusing. I’ll help your team give homeowners clear answers, get the assistant onto your website, and review what happens after launch.

The details

Before you apply.

Who is this pilot for?

Crawl space businesses serving Raleigh and nearby Triangle communities, including Cary, Apex, Garner, Wake Forest, and Durham. We’re looking for an active website with visitors, capacity for more jobs, and an owner or manager willing to test AI with us. You don’t need to run paid ads. We review fit on a short call; applying doesn’t guarantee selection.

What does three months free include?

One business, one location, and one website. We include setup, your approved business knowledge, the chat widget, a lead dashboard, agreed email alerts, monthly results reviews, and up to 1,000 AI replies per month. Your three months start at launch. An AI reply is one answer from the assistant; a conversation can use several replies.

What happens if we reach the usage allowance?

AI answers pause at the monthly allowance; the follow-up form remains available. We review usage with you before any paid increase. There are no automatic overage charges.

What happens after the pilot?

$399/month at the same 1,000-reply allowance if you choose to continue. We confirm the ongoing scope with you before paid service starts. No card is required to apply and there is no automatic paid enrollment. Additional locations or custom integrations are quoted separately.

Does it answer phone calls or book appointments?

This pilot covers website chat. It collects appointment requests for your team to confirm; it doesn’t book a calendar slot or dispatch a crew. Phone answering is a separate service.

What do you need from us?

Help approving the business information, access to install the widget, a named person to follow up with leads, and a short monthly review of inquiries and booked work. Any public case study or testimonial requires your separate permission.
